Our psychotherapists are experienced in helping children and young adults to resolve behavioural, emotional and social problems, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), phobias, aggressive behaviour, substance abuse, pilfering, risky sexual behaviours which include addiction to pornography, masturbation and other age inappropriate sexual behaviours.
-
We provide individual and group learning experiences that equip children and young adults with knowledge that would help them to understand their bodies, thoughts, feelings and challenges as sexual beings, and equip them with practical self-help skills that would enable them to make informed positive choices about their sexuality, so that they would grow up healthy and safe from sexual abuse and risky sexual behaviours, avoid the distractions that come with early dating behaviour and concentrate on their academics and career goals.

Most people work 8-9 hours a day. This implies that we spend about 70-75% of our daily active hours on work related activities. Doing a job that one does not enjoy doing could make one’s life boring and miserable and consequently, inhibit one’s enthusiasm and productivity. Work is not only a means of earning income but also an opportunity to serve society as we express our innate potentials. We can therefore say that work is a means of self-expression.

Educational Counselling
We understand that learning and academic performance are products of multiple interrelated variables which cut across the learner variables (maturation, readiness, pre-requisite knowledge, emotional state, attitude to learning, motivation, personality traits, learning styles, study skills, etc), the teacher variables, the subject and the learning environment. -
We are proud to say that the Rapha Counselling team members are “high flyers” who are passionate about replicating their greatness in the younger generation.
At Rapha Counselling, we acknowledge that young people are new to the world and basically inexperienced about the techniques required to thrive in an ever changing and competitive society. -
Life, they say is in stages. As young people grow, there comes a time when they begin to prepare for future family life. There are things we could experiment with but family life is certainly not one of them. Entering into family life without proper guidance, readiness and self conviction could be detrimental.
We therefore make ourselves available to work with our young clients of marriageable age who are in relationship or about to start one, as they embark on this journey.
